ARABIC TEACHERS’ FORUM CONTINUES AT UKF WITH INTERNATIONAL EXPERTS

University of Khorfakkan (UKF), hosted the “Sharqiya Forum for Arabic Language Teachers,” an extension of the “4th International Forum for Arabic Language Teachers 2025,” held under the theme “Building and Advancement.” The event was organized by the Sharjah Private Education Authority in collaboration with the Sharjah Education Academy, bringing together a distinguished group of academics, experts, and educators from the UAE and abroad. The forum aimed to exchange best practices in Arabic language teaching, with a special focus on integrating modern technologies and artificial intelligence into education systems. The university welcomed a series of panel discussions and interactive workshops addressing key themes such as the role of language in strengthening identity among younger generations, innovative teaching methods for early childhood Arabic education, the link between social studies and the preservation of Arabic, and the contribution of technology and AI to enhancing Arabic learning while reinforcing cultural identity. The program also showcased local and international best practices in advancing Arabic language education. Participants underscored the importance of the forum as an effective platform for exchanging pedagogical expertise and adopting innovative teaching practices. They highlighted its role in equipping Arabic language teachers with cutting-edge digital tools to create interactive and enriching learning experiences. The forum also reinforced the University’s commitment to consolidating the Arabic language as both a scientific language and a cornerstone of identity and belonging, while showcasing the university’s inspiring experiences in Arabic education as part of a comprehensive vision aligned with global educational and technological developments.
