As part of its ongoing efforts to offer academic programs aligned with the digital age, University of Khorfakkan (UKF) has announced the establishment of a new academic entity—the College of Computing and Intelligent Systems. The university is also launching a new Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program, featuring three integrated tracks: Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Computer Games Development. The application period will open on June 23 and run through July 31, 2025. This new program stands out as one of the university’s most innovative offerings, combining theoretical foundations with practical application. It aims to graduate qualified national professionals capable of keeping pace with rapid technological advancement and addressing the evolving needs of the job market in the fields of computing and intelligent systems. What sets this program apart is its comprehensive and interdisciplinary structure. Students will engage in in-depth studies across three major areas: Artificial Intelligence, which covers machine learning and data analysis; Cybersecurity, which equips students with the skills to protect digital infrastructures and counter cyber threats; and Computer Games Development, which introduces the principles of designing and developing interactive games using cutting-edge software tools. This cross-disciplinary approach is designed to provide graduates with a broad, integrated understanding of modern technologies, enabling them to adapt flexibly to the demands of the dynamic digital landscape.
