MOU BETWEEN THE LIBRARIES OF UKF AND AAU

In a strategic move aimed at enhancing academic collaboration and developing educational resources, University of Khorfakkan Library (UKF), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Ain University Library (AAU). This initiative is part of both universities’ efforts to support integration across various academic and technological fields, benefiting students, faculty, and researchers. Ahmed Zidan, Director of UKF Library, signed the memorandum for UKF, while Dr. Abdel Layi Kaba, Director of the AAU Library, signed for Al Ain University.
The MoU aims to support intellectual and knowledge growth, as well as enhance professional development and technological integration between the two universities. The partnership includes a commitment to mutual support across various academic fields through the exchange of a wider range of library resources and services. This will contribute to providing an innovative and enriching educational environment. Additionally, the collaboration seeks to explore professional development and training opportunities by organizing joint training courses and workshops to enhance the capabilities of faculty members and students at both universities. The agreement also includes the exchange of printed and electronic resources, ensuring easy access for users at each university to a diverse range of educational and research materials.
The event was attended by Professor Ali Hilal Al Naqbi, Chancellor of University of Khorfakkan, Dr. Mona Al Mulla, Director of the Public Relations and Media Department, and several staff members from UKF library. From Al Ain University, the event was attended by Professor Ghaleb A. Al Refae, President of Al Ain University, Professor Ibtihal Mahmoud Abureseq, Vice President for Development and Follow-up, Professor Nazih Khaddaj Mallat, Vice President for Accreditation and Quality Assurance, as well as library staff members.
