TO FOSTER KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE IN ADVANCING UNIVERSITY EDUCATION UKF HOSTS ACADEMIC ACCREDITATION COMMISSION FORUM ON BEST PRACTICES IN HIGHER EDUCATION

The University of Khorfakkan (UKF), recently hosted the “Best Practices in Higher Education” Forum, organized by the Academic Accreditation Commission under the Ministry of Education. This event aimed to foster dialogue, exchange insights, and showcase exemplary practices in the field of university education, featuring prominent speakers and experts from leading universities and higher education institutions both locally and globally. In his opening remarks, Professor Soliman Mahmoud, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at University of Khorfakkan, welcomed attendees and participants to the forum. He expressed his enthusiasm for hosting this significant event, describing it as a valuable opportunity to strengthen efforts and share knowledge with other universities and higher education institutions committed to quality teaching and knowledge advancement. Professor Mahmoud also reaffirmed UKF’s ongoing commitment to implementing the best academic practices across various disciplines and developing strategic educational plans that align with technological advancements and labor market demands. The forum included contributions from several esteemed universities and higher education institutions that shared their success stories and inspiring practices in the academic field. Participating institutions included Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College, Gulf Medical University, Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, Ajman University, American University of Sharjah, Istituto Marangoni Dubai, United Arab Emirates University, University of Sharjah, Al Ain University, Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Sharjah Maritime Academy, and the British University in Dubai.
