UKF HOSTS SECOND FORUM FOR HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPALS IN EASTERN REGION

Under the slogan "Sustainability of Education," the University of Khorfakkan (UKF) has successfully organized the second forum for high school principals in the Eastern Region. This initiative underscores the university's commitment to fostering cooperation with leading educational institutions and leaders in the region, aiming to enhance academic education and elevate the educational system. The event witnessed the presence of Professor Ahmed Al-Shammaa, Chancellor of UKF, along with vice chancellors, deans of colleges, and university staff. In his opening address, Al-Shammaa welcomed the attendees and highlighted the significance of the forum as an effective communication platform between school and university educational leaders. He emphasized the exchange of diverse educational experiences and the focus on addressing the interests of high school students as they prepare to embark on their university journey. He noted that fostering cooperation with various educational institutions and making concerted efforts to guide future generations is a priority for UKF to ensure high-quality educational outcomes. He also praised the academic and scientific value that UKF holds in the region, aligning with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, and President of the University. Al-Shammaa provided an overview of the university's vision and its mission to enhance the educational system locally and internationally. Concluding his speech, Al-Shammaa reaffirmed UKF's ongoing efforts to attract high school students, encouraging their future aspirations, and offering opportunities to excel in various scientific and academic fields. He stressed the importance of developing students' knowledge and practical skills in line with labour market demands, guided by a distinguished faculty and scholars. The forum included a comprehensive presentation about the unique colleges at UKF, their departments, and their diverse current and future academic programs. It clarified admission and registration requirements, study plans, and future employment opportunities. Additionally, the forum showcased essential services, facilities, and various activities provided by the university departments to support students throughout their studies. The event also featured an exchange of proposals and discussions on developmental ideas in attracting and guiding students, fostering creative thinking and innovation among emerging generations, and addressing the educational and academic needs to enrich and develop various scientific fields.
