Obtain academic admission to one of the programs approved by the Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research at higher education institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah, in line with labor market needs and approved priorities.
Comply with the approved academic and administrative requirements, including that no more than two years have passed since obtaining the high school certificate at the time of application. Exceptions to this period may be granted for newly established universities by decision of the Council, based on the number of applicants.
Meet the relevant financial or social criteria as determined by the Council.
B. Requirements for Scholarships for Students with Disabilities:
The disability must fall within officially recognized physical or intellectual categories, based on approved medical reports or classifications.
The applicant must have obtained admission to a higher education institution in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The applicant must be registered with Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, with lists approved by the relevant authority.
C. Requirements for Scholarships for Children of Imams and Muezzins:
The guardian must have completed at least ten (10) years of service.
The guardian’s salary must be AED 10,000 or more.
Student lists must be approved by the Department of Islamic Affairs in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The scholarship covers 25% per semester, up to a maximum of 50% per academic year, excluding the summer term, as approved by the Council.
Note:
Applicants to the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and the College of Law must have a minimum high school average of 85%.
